ICEBREAKERS ONLINE

Hi all,

You all made some interesting points about how and when to use icebreakers. I will make a summary next Monday.
We still have to choose three icebreakers that can be used online.
Could you all suggest one or two icebreakers?
Tomorrow I will collect them so we can vote on them.

Have a nice weekend,
Carmen

Hi Troyan Mice,

Welcome at ACTIVITY 3.03 - ICE BREAKERS
I'm pleased to lead this activity.

The activity starts on Friday 12th of June and will end the 22th of June. So we will have 10 whole days we can spend on it!

Details of the activity
Our task is to:

  1. Discuss the factors you should consider when deciding on an Ice Breaker? List these agreed factors together with a brief justification for their inclusion.
  2. Collectively suggest 3 ice breakers which would work well online.

First activity: A starter

Purpose:
to break the ice and to get to know blogspot.com

Time:
Could you post your answers before Monday the 15th?

Task:
As a starter I would like you to answer two questions:

  1. Did you ever use ice breakers in a course you led? (not necessarily an online one).
  2. If you did, can you explain in a few words how it worked and if you didn’t can you tell us if you had a specific reason not using an ice breaker.

What's next?
On Monday I will summarize and will ask for other contributions.
